Stephen’s Ride For Humanity
Friends and Family Gathering in Town of Aurora
LOCATION: LAMBERT WILLSON PARK, AURORA
TIME: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
FEE: $25 + HST
The 7th annual Stephen’s Ride For Humanity will be all about friends and family gathering together to share a few memories, to plan their own bike ride or trail walk, and to enjoy an outdoor lunch in Stephen’s hometown of Aurora. The Ride will be held on Sunday, September 24th from 8:00am to 1:00pm at Aurora’s Lambert Willson park, adjacent to the peaceful Aurora Arboretum and home to Stephen’s memorial tree.
Participants will find themselves amidst the beautiful Holland River Trail system whereby casual cyclists may choose to ride the paved or limestone trails, and road cyclists may easily exit the park to access regional roads quite popular to York Region’s cyclists. Others may choose to hike the trails or stroll through the arboretum, or simply enjoy the nearby children’s playground.
A nominal participant’s fee will provide for the food and beverage only. Any additional donations to Habitat For Humanity will be greatly appreciated. Riders are encouraged to plan their routes in advance.
