BILDgta

A crucial part of BILD’s mission is to be a strong, unified, proactive advocate for the home building, land development and professional renovation industry.

We facilitate information-sharing and discussion between the industry and government, provide solution-oriented recommendations to political decision-makers, and help shape legislation and policy so that they are effective and fair for the industry and new home buyers. See our policy positions.

We focus our advocacy on the Greater Toronto Area, but collaborate with the Ontario Home Builders’ Association and the Canadian Home Builders’ Association to reach governments at all levels.

Our advocacy work is carried out by a professional Policy & Advocacy staff team and by BILD members from across the GTA and Simcoe County, who participate in regionally based forums and other committees and councils.
