BREAKFAST: 8:00 a.m.
PROGRAM: 8:30 - 10:00 a.m.
Public consultation or engagement has always been part of developing communities. While public consultation can sometimes be a challenging process for planners and developers, taking a different approach with engaging the public can have positive impacts on a project.
Effective public engagement can generate a positive reception, bring fresh ideas to designing a community, and make approvals easier. Public engagement is an important part of the development process, and in the future it could become even more important.
Join us as our panel discusses the impact that public engagement had on their individual projects, the techniques that were used and the valuable lessons learned.
