Our History

BILD’s roots go back to 1921 when the Toronto Home Builders’ Association was established. Five Toronto builders met in a downtown office to discuss development fees and charges, and formed an association that has been representing the industry and influencing public policy development for nearly a century.

Leadership and Staff

BILD is staffed by a dedicated team of professionals, and run by a volunteer board of directors. The board is led by a chairman, who holds this position for 2 years.
